Relax in the calm atmosphere of a carsic village. Connect with nature.
The building
Modern architecture that reflects traditional culture.

The building has been constructed in 2015. It features a modern minimalistic design that captures key architectural characteristics of a typical carsic house; simplicity of form where functionality takes precedence, irregular lines, a long external balcony with stairs, no roof overhangs, small windows, etc.
Being a new constructions, it offers the comforts of modern life; floor heating, active air ventilation and conditioning, smart lighting, etc.

There is a big open field in front of the building. It offers a perfect sunset view for a perfect end to a perfect day …
… and the night atmosphere is magical as well.

The village
Far from urban frenzy, close to sourounding sites.

Podbreže is a tiny carsic village with only 17 houses. The place is very quiet, sorrounded with nature and with no transit traffic (the road leading to the village stops there).
Although disconnected from its souroundings, the nearest town Sežana and the border with Italy is only 5 km away and the center of Trieste is less than 20 km away.

Lipica is the home of the Lipizzan horse and the biggest Lipizzan stud farm in the world. It is right on the border with Italy and less than 10 minutes from Vilabela.
